While every memorial is different, here's a general guide:
● Design and approval: 1–2 weeks, depending on how quickly wording and design details are finalised
● Manufacturing: Several weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and current workload
● Foundation and cemetery preparation: Varies by cemetery and design — some require a settling period
● Installation: Typically completed in a single day once the foundation is ready
Why timelines vary
Custom engraving, imported stone, and intricate designs all add time. Cemetery regulations can also affect when a foundation may be laid — many require the ground to settle for a number of months after burial.
